Below you will find our Addition and Subtraction Calculation Policy and our Multiplication and Division Calculation Policy, which outline how we teach children to calculate and demonstrates the use of the 'Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract' approach to teaching calculations. There is a Guidance document to accompany these, which provides a picture of the progression in calculations across the school. Also, there is the National Curriculum Maths Progression Map for KS1 and 2 and the Reception Curriculum Map.
