Our School Day
Rec/KS1 = 32 hours KS2 = 32 hours 25 minutes
8.40 am School gate and doors open - members of staff on duty
8.55 am School door/gate close (anyone arriving after this time must enter through front school office)
9.00 - 9.05 am - Registration
9.05 am Assembly or morning SPAG activities (pre-teaching/interventions)
First session - Maths or English
10.30 am - 10.50am - R/KS1/KS2 break - Free fruit for R/KS1 - KS2 children may bring a healthy snack
Second session - Maths or English
12.00 pm Lunch
1.00 pm Afternoon registration
1.05pm Third session - quiet reading/ foundation subjects
2.00 pm Fourth session - foundation subjects
3.00 pm Assembly or story sessions or debates
3.20 pm Reception/KS1 finish
3.25 pm KS2 finish
3.30 pm After school clubs start

Assemblies are as follows:
Monday 9.05am - Head teacher assembly
Tuesday 9.05am - Key Stage One assembly
Wednesday 2.55 pm - Singing assembly
Thursday 2.55 pm - Key Stage Two assembly
Friday 9.05am - Celebration assembly - parents invited
Throughout the day children participate in various activities. For example: interventions, forest school, gardening, cookery, music, topic work, languages and much more.
