JACQUI O’HANLON Director of Education Royal Shakespeare Company
Jacqui joined the RSC in 2003 and has been Director of Education since 2008. She is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Education Department and a member of the RSC’s senior management team. During her time at the RSC she has launched Stand Up for Shakespeare, a manifesto for Shakespeare in schools which calls for children and young people to See It live; Start it Earlier and Do Shakespeare on their feet. Jacqui also established the RSC’s Learning and Performance Network, initiated the company’s Schools’ Broadcast series which has reached 150,000 young people to date and its new national partnership programme, Associate Schools. She developed and edited the RSC Shakespeare Toolkit for Teachers, which has been distributed to every state-maintained primary and secondary school in England and brings the work of RSC rehearsal rooms to life in classrooms around the country. She leads on developing major education partnerships nationally and internationally with broadcasters, universities and theatres. Most recently Jacqui has been editing the RSC’s new Schools Shakespeare series with Oxford University Press.

Mr Srikantha Mandava
Community Governor
"I became a Community Governor at Stratford Primary School in September 2022. I am a Principal Product Manager in an organisation specialising in Digital Transformation for Satellite and Media broadcasting companies. I collaborate with organisations to enhance efficiencies and implement automation. I aim to foster adaptability and encourage experimentation to improve their services.
As a parent of two children attending local schools in Stratford upon Avon, I am deeply connected to our community. Witnessing the dedication and passion of teachers firsthand in my family and the community, I understand the immense effort they put into shaping the younger generations. Motivated by this, I wanted to extend my support and utilise my skills to help the local school improve their education services."
Mrs Rachel Dallimore
Community Governor
As a parent of a child at the school, as well as having recently lived in Asia for 10 years, I bring both diverse and local community insights. With the children’s best interests at heart, I value co-production and creating happy memories in support of the school’s vision and ethos.
I have experience in managing service improvement projects for Learning Disabilities & Autism services across Warwickshire and Solihull. I therefore aim to promote quality and high standards to support school improvement and strategy.
I am delighted to be part of the governing body and supporting the school in providing opportunities for all the children to achieve their best.
Mrs Janet Palmer
Community Governor
Janet is a former teacher and retired Educational Psychologist who has worked for various local authorities including Hertfordshire, the London Borough of Enfield and Essex. She now lives in Stratford, volunteers with various community groups and is a co-director of Net Zero Stratford (www.netzerostratford.co.uk). Janet has particular interests in early years education, including the development of speech and language abilities in young children, and in environmental education. She is a qualified Makaton tutor. Janet looks forward to supporting the school as SEND governor.
Mrs Kate Llewellyn
Vice Chair & Community Governor
Kate retired from full-time primary Headship in December 2012, after 39 years in the teaching profession.
Subsequently, for several years she was a part-time consultant Headteacher supporting schools in special measures
She has worked in Primary, Junior, Infant and Special schools during her career.
She was a Headteacher of three schools, leading and sustaining improvement over a 28-year period. She set up and resourced a Nursery unit attached to her Infant school and led it to become one of the top schools in the country with outstanding OFSTED reports.
Kate has a keen interest in how children learn and how a school provides a learning environment to meet all children’s needs. She is passionate about children reaching their true potential, whatever their ability.
In addition, she is a Non-Executive Director of the Family Care Trust in Solihull, which is a charitable organisation providing support and care for the elderly, in particular those with dementia. The Trust also has a farm unit where young adults with learning disabilities find purposeful employment.
In her leisure time, Kate enjoys restoring antique furniture, socialising with friends, walking and travelling, particularly in Italy, visiting art galleries across Europe. Kate and her husband have a modest art collection or their own.
